Hi, I’m Kelsey.
Thanks for stopping by my corner of the internet.
I’m a content strategist and writer with experience conceptualizing, managing, and executing editorial and marketing efforts across channels.
I deliver compelling, results-oriented content by nailing the balance between the science and art of marketing. As the Content Manager at Rula, I create high-quality content experiences for our various audiences across channels. Our mission is to make mental healthcare accessible for all.
How do I work?
I believe in the power of storytelling and that thoughtful content can foster connection. I take a holistic approach to content. Marketing should not be solely driven by data; by applying principles of sociology, psychology, and design, I drive success for brands.
I’ve had a passion for writing since I could hold pen to paper. My early career was rooted in editorial work. I’ve done a bit of it all—from Arts & Entertainment Editor at my university’s newspaper to a medical publishing company in Nashville to content writing for tech companies. I love how seamlessly my editorial background bleeds into marketing, whether I’m proofing content, writing copy for proposals, or drafting communications for a product release.
Other areas of expertise include customer journey mapping and brand positioning + messaging.
Enough about work. What am I really like?
I’m a sucker for good sushi, good music, and good conversation. A Philly transplant, I moved to the city in 2018 and haven’t looked back since. I wasn’t a sports fan before, but this city has a funny way of pulling you in—the number of streaming platforms I’ve downloaded in haste to catch a game is laughable. I’m also a voracious reader and vintage collector.
